My husband, Kenneth and I have a licensed Family Child Care Home, Creative Care by Annelle licensed for all 3 shifts. I'm a NC Certified Art Teacher with over 30 years teaching and tutoring experience with unique creative manipulatives. I'm a Montessori trained teacher at church and a respite provider for over 10 years each. We home schooled our own two special needs boys who are now grown professionals. This is the best job ever! It gets even better because my husband, Kenneth R has joined me permanently and we are an experienced dedicated team of loving caregivers. We are non smokers and fully trained. We are full during the day caring for 5 infant -preschool children but have openings for after-school pick up and afternoon care, evenings, over nights, weekends, and holidays. We are available for short term or long term care for infants through age 12. We offer family discounts for more than one child to care for your entire family. I provide home cooked Whole Foods meals and snacks that are healthy, nutritious and delicious. Our home has three outside play areas in our one acre yard where we have lots of free outside play on bikes exploring nature. Inside we have a large playroom for gross motor climbing and bouncing, a playroom with train table, doll house and tons of manipulatives, a reading/infant room with books of all kinds and toddler toys, private bath with large tub and peaceful bedroom with a bed just for you; all totally dedicated for your child to enjoy. We take children to local parks, lakes, & outings to explore nature often! We all take health and safety very seriously by checking temperature, washing hands before entering, and all families are wearing masks in public. We are following all the CDC COVID guidelines. We are looking for families that share our philosophy of lots of outdoor free play exploring nature, learning from each other, using creative manipulatives, and dramatic reading aloud. We have a firm policy of no screen time at all except for virtual learning for school-age children. It's wonderful to see their creative imaginative play unfold. We are easily located in Waynesville just .25 mile off highway 23/74. We are looking for families that need a long or short term relationship that have similar nurturing values where we can all grow together in love.
