We are a small, personalized center offering lots of flexibility, no contract, free hot lunch and diapering supplies. We run year-round and offer part and full-time programs both mornings and all day up to 11 hours daily including after-care where needed. We accept children beginning at age 18 mos. Our classrooms are large and bright, offer lots of natural sunlight, and are pleasing to the fussiest of customers! ;-) We also have a huge all-purpose gymnasium-like room for indoor playground time on rainy or excessively cold days. Just on the outskirts of town, we are nestled in nature in Princeton proper about 1.5 miles from the University main gates. We are more than happy to provide a tour at a time of your choosing. Princeton Community Family Learning Center (PCFLC) is a small center with only 36 children total and 8 amazing teacher-caregivers. Nestled on the Princeton countryside near the Herrontown Woods, we are still only 2 miles from the Princeton University main gate. PCFLC is located on the grounds of the lovely and expansive All Saints' Church campus, though we are NOT a religious-based program. We are a faith-neutral program and celebrate diversity. We offer flexibility, affordability and a personal approach to every family we serve. There is no registration fee or long-term contract. We view each family as unique, and work hard to accommodate your specific needs. We offer both a preschool experience and/or all-day coverage. Children's schedules range from 3 hours, two days a week (part-time preschool) to full-time days with extended care. We accept children as young as 18 months and up to 6 years. Three big, bright, naturally-lit classrooms accommodate the different age groups as well as two gymnasium/all-purpose rooms. We have a lovely, large, fenced-in playground surrounded by shade trees for outdoor play. We strive to serve local families in every capacity we can, often providing after-school care for children who attend the local public schools as well as drop-in care for children when the family's nanny needs a break. The curriculum for children 18 months to 5 years is "My Big World" fully supported by Scholastic and creatively developed by PCFLC teachers. Five-year-olds showing readiness to engage in our kindergarten curriculum are welcome to do so. Both curriculum's can be viewed on our website. We offer complementary hot lunch and diapering supplies. It is our pleasure to serve a hot meal every day free of charge, which always includes a vegetarian alternative.
