Sheila Lirio Marcelo

Sheila Lirio Marcelo
Founder and CEO, Care.com

Sheila founded Care.com in 2006 and today, the Company is the largest online care destination in the world with 7 million members in more than 15 countries. Care.com allows families to connect with millions of caregivers to manage the lifecycle of care challenges families face: childcare, including special needs, senior care, pet care, housekeeping, tutoring, and more. The Company also offers its suite of services as an employee benefit to Fortune 500 companies, higher education institutions, technology and service companies, and a variety of industries.

Throughout 2012, Care.com has expanded both geographically and in terms of its scope of services. The Company launched in the UK (April 2012) and Canada (July 2012), followed by the acquisition of Berlin-based Besser Betreut, the largest online care portal in Europe, in mid-July. In August, Care.com acquired Breedlove & Associates, the nation's largest provider of comprehensive household payroll services, making Care.com the only online care destination to offer such a broad payroll and tax platform.

Sheila's passion for technology developed during her time as a management consultant at Monitor Company and a teaching fellow at Harvard Business School. Her growing appreciation for the power of technology led her to positions at Internet companies, including VP, Product Management and Marketing at Upromise.com, a service helping families save for college, and VP and General Manager of TheLadders.com, an executive job search engine.

Sheila has been honored with numerous media accolades, including one of the "10 Most Powerful Women in Boston Tech" by The Boston Globe's Innovation Economy (2012); "Tech Luminary Innovation All-Star" by the Boston Business Journal (BBJ, 2012); one of the "100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs" for Goldman Sachs' Builders and Innovators Summit (2012); "Leader in Diversity" by the BBJ (2012);and one of the "Top 10 Women Entrepreneurs at Fortune's Most Powerful Women Summit" (2009). She is also a Henry Crown Fellow with the Aspen Institute; was awarded a Marshall Memorial Fellowship and named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum, for which she is co-leading a global task force on Women & Technology - WomenUp.org; and received the Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year Award for New England" in 2010.

Sheila serves as a Board Trustee of the Philippine Development Foundation, a non-profit organization that regularly works with the Philippine government on education, innovation and entrepreneurship. In addition, she is a finalist judge for Harvard Business School's annual Business Plan Competition.

Sheila is a frequent speaker on female entrepreneurship, women in technology, and female leadership, and currently mentors numerous young female entrepreneurs around the world.

Sheila graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Economics and received her M.B.A. and J.D. degrees with Honors and the Dean's Award from Harvard University. She resides in the Boston, MA area with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.

Steve Boulanger

Steve Boulanger, Senior Vice President, Finance

Steve understands the difficulties in finding care for both children and parents, and is interested in helping those of the "Sandwich Generation" achieve easier care solutions.

As Senior Vice President of Finance at Care.com, Steve is responsible for managing all finance and accounting functions for the Company. During a career of more than 30 years, he has developed a broad range of expertise, including finance, operations, business strategy and planning, business development, mergers and acquisitions, legal, IT and HR.

Prior to joining Care.com, Steve served as CFO for several venture-backed technology companies, including FASTech Integration, Inc. (acquired by Brooks Automation), OpenPages, Inc. (acquired by IBM), Cimaron Communications (acquired by Applied Micro Circuits Corp.) and Smart Destinations. Steve began his career in public accounting at Price Waterhouse in 1978.

Steve holds an A.B., Cum Laude, from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Scott Healy

Scott Healy, Executive Vice President & General Manager, Consumer and Business Services

As the father of four boys, two of whom are twins, Scott joined Care.com in 2007 because he saw the need for better resources to help people find high quality, reliable care for their families.

As EVP and GM of Consumer and Business Services at Care.com, Scott is responsible for the worldwide growth and profitability of online services for consumers, and also oversees the Company's offerings for organizations, ranging from local SMBs to global corporations. These offerings include marketing and recruiting solutions for companies that are in the business of providing care, as well as back-up care and other work-life benefits services for large employers.

Scott has over 20 years' experience in marketing, product management, and general management including at online-focused companies such as BuyerZone, now a division of Reed Elsevier, and e-Dialog, now part of eBay. Earlier in his career he worked in brand management at Unilever and was a management consultant at Monitor Group.

Scott is active in coaching youth sports and holds a B.A. with Honors from Williams College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Dave Krupinski

Dave Krupinski, Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer

The father of two daughters, Dave is sensitive to the role that quality care plays in balancing the day-to-day demands of career and family.

As Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Care.com, Dave is inspired by the opportunity to leverage technology and the Internet to solve one of the most pressing and important issues that families face today: finding quality care for their loved ones. In his role, he oversees all engineering, quality assurance, product management, reporting and analytics, production operations and IT activities for the Company.

Dave has more than 20 years of experience designing and developing software products and online services. Prior to co-founding Care.com, he was Director of Product Management at Upromise from 2000-2006. During his career, Dave has held senior management and executive positions at a number of successful start-ups including Upromise.com (acquired by Sallie Mae), Direct Hit (acquired by Ask Jeeves) and Stylus Innovation (acquired by Artisoft). He began his career as a Software Engineer at Thomson Financial in 1988.

Dave holds a B.A. and M.S. from Boston College and received an M.B.A. for Executives from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

John Leahy

John Leahy, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

During the course of his career, John had the opportunity to work in multiple cities and countries. Each move with his wife and three daughters made him keenly aware of the challenges finding quality childcare around the world.

As Chief Financial Officer at Care.com, John is the Company's lead executive with the financial community including investors, analysts, and banks, and helps evaluate growth opportunities and M&A targets for the Company. In addition, he oversees the Company's finance function, including accounting, planning, forecasting, tax, treasury, and compliance.

John joined Care.com from iRobot where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2008. Among his many accomplishments during his tenure there, EBITDA grew substantially, the stock price rose exponentially, and the company completed its largest acquisition to date, all under John's leadership. Prior to iRobot, John spent eight years as EVP and CFO for Keane, Inc., which provided business consulting and outsourcing services to Fortune 1000 companies prior to its acquisition by Citigroup. John began his career at PepsiCo, Inc. serving in numerous management roles in the U.S. and abroad during a 17-year tenure, including Vice President, Global Strategic Planning and M&A.

John holds a B.S. in Finance from Merrimack College and an M.B.A from the Boston College Graduate School of Management.

Donna Levin

Donna Levin, Co-Founder & Vice President, Operations

A wife and mother to two children, Donna understands the significance of having reliable care for her family.

As Co-Founder and Vice President of Operations at Care.com, Donna oversees all of the systems, policies and procedures related to member care, including placement, vetting, back up care and the Company's Care Concierge program. In this role, she's helped launch Care.com's care management offering and establish the safety and customer service infrastructure.

Donna has a 15-year career as a social entrepreneur and prior to co-founding Care.com in 2006, served as VP of Operations at Upromise, an online service that helps families save for college. Before then, she held several leadership positions across a broad range of technology and start up organizations including Furniture.com, Turning Point Software (acquired by Metamore Worldwide), and Thomson Financial.

For the past two years, she has been a member of the advisory board for the Boston Chamber Women's Network, and most recently joined the advisory board for WEST, which promotes the advancement of women in engineering, science and technology. She also is on the Board of Overseers at Emerson College and is a Board Member for the Center for Women and Enterprise. Donna holds a B.A. from Emerson College.

Zenobia Moochhala

Zenobia Moochhala, Co-Founder & Vice President, Consumer Marketing

As a parent to a toddler, Zenobia has an enthusiasm and drive to help solve the challenges facing today's families and caregivers that continues to help form Care.com.

In her role as Co-Founder and Vice President of Consumer Marketing at Care.com, Zenobia is primarily responsible for consumer acquisition, conversion and member marketing. She regularly leads initiatives to build the online community, including media buying and developing social and SEO strategy, as well as improve the user experience by shaping the way Care.com communicates with its members.

In the four years prior to co-founding Care.com, Zenobia worked as a Senior Marketing Manager for Upromise, where she helped families prepare and save for college. From 1998-2001, she served as Senior Product Manager at financial software startup, WorldStreet.

Recognized as one of the "40 under 40" from Boston Business Journal, a "Pinnacle Award Emerging Executive" by The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, and recipient of the "Asper Alumni Entrepreneurship Award" from Brandeis University, Zenobia holds a M.A. from Brandeis University and a B.A. from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai.

Diane Musi

Diane Musi, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

As General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Care.com, Diane oversees all legal, privacy and safety related matters for the Company. Her responsibilities include ensuring legal compliance of the Company's varied activities, managing the in-house and outside legal team, M&A and financing transactions, dispute resolution, and providing comprehensive legal analysis, strategy and advice to the executive team.

Prior to joining Care.com in 2011, Diane spent 11 years at Upromise, an online service that helps families save for college, including more than four years as the Company's General Counsel. Before this, Diane was a corporate associate at Goodwin Procter LLP, where she specialized in public and private company mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, public and private securities offerings (including initial public offerings), securities law compliance matters, and general corporate law matters.

Diane is a member of the Massachusetts Bar and holds an A.B. from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Ted Preston

Ted Preston, General Manager, Value Added Services & Senior Vice President, Operations

Ted's first-hand experience raising three young children with his wife emphasized the importance of high quality and reliable child care support. Originally from Montreal, Ted joined the Care.com team in September 2011 to help deliver on its mission to be the largest online care destination in the world.

As General Manager of Value Added Services and Senior Vice President of Operations at Care.com, Ted is responsible for managing the Company's operational activities, as well as its value added services, including household tax and payroll, convenience payment, senior care and special needs advising, and live-in care solutions.

In the three years prior to joining Care.com, Ted served as the first CEO of The Achievement Network, an organization committed to helping urban low-income schools achieve outstanding results by using data-driven strategies to raise student achievement. Under his leadership, The Achievement Network expanded from serving 12 to 260+ schools and earned several awards for innovation, including the U.S. Department of Education's Investing in Innovation (i3) funding and The NewSchools Venture Fund's Organization of the Year.

From 1999-2007, Ted held several leadership positions with EF Education, a world-leader in international education, including group CFO and division CEO. Earlier in his career, Ted served as Director of Educational Programming for The Community Builders, Inc. and Executive Director of Summerbridge Cincinnati.

When not at Care.com, he can be found either on the soccer sidelines or as the guest of honor at his daughters' tea parties.

Ted holds an A.B. from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Erica Landry Scheik

Erica Landry Scheik, Chief Brand Officer

Erica knows the importance of finding quality childcare. Living with a 12 year old, twins, two dogs and a cat makes care a challenge, to say the least.

As Chief Brand Officer at Care.com, Erica oversees the site experience for Care.com, as well as customer retention and engagement. Responsible for creating Care.com's brand in everything from TV commercials to photography, she works to ensure consistency across marketing channels, including print, interactive and social initiatives. As part of her role, she also manages the creative, product marketing and content teams.

Prior to joining Care.com in 2011, Erica was Vice President & Director of Creative Strategy at Jack Morton where she oversaw a team of digital strategists and brand planners from 2007-2011. In the three years prior, she served as Copy Creative Director at Staples, where she helped launch the Easy Button campaign and developed the brand voice for the Company.

Erica has driven brand strategy for several Fortune 500 companies, identifying offline and online opportunities that engage audiences and inspire action and conversation. She has served as Creative Director at Upromise, was an award-winning senior copywriter at Digitas, and held the position of Associate Creative Director at general advertising agency Mann Bukvic Gatch in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has also worked in publishing at Houghton Mifflin and Atlantic Monthly Magazine and as a restaurant critic.

Since 2010, Erica has sat on the American Red Cross Board of Directors. Erica holds a B.A., Cum Laude, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and received a Diploma in English with Merit from the University of Swansea, Wales, UK.

Al Zink

Al Zink, Senior Vice President, Human Resources

Al has worked with many employees over the years who have struggled to balance work and family with limited resources. He and his wife have one adult son as well as an elderly parent living with them and understand the dynamics of the extended family. Care.com's focus on helping families manage these growing care demands was one of the many things that drew him to the Company in April 2012.

As the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Care.com, Al directs all human resources initiatives for the Company's employees worldwide, including talent acquisition, total rewards, education and organizational development, policy and HR systems.

With more than 30 years of human resources experience in fast-growing global enterprises, Al was most recently the Vice President of Human Resources at QuantiaMD, which brings physicians together in an online community to reshape medicine.

From 2009-2011, Al was Vice President of Human Resources for Boston Power, a leading portable power manufacturer. Before that, he served as Vice President of Human Resources for BirdDog Solutions as well as Compete Inc., an online market research company. Earlier, he was Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Upromise and Vice President of Human Resources of Thomson Dialog Worldwide. He also established human resources functions for NewsEdge Corporation, PictureTel Corporation, Fenwick Partners and Raster Technologies. Al began his career as Director of Personnel for Lowell General Hospital in 1977.

Al holds a B.A. from Boston College and a M. Ed. from Boston University.
