I was employed by a day care for two years, I have studied early childhood education and am currently pursuing a degree in Spanish education and ESL. I am a certified Emergency Medical Technician, CPR, Communicable Disease and Child Abuse certified as well. I have a daughter who will be home with me full time except on Fridays. My availability is Monday through Friday 6am to 6pm and Saturdays if need for an additional fee. Hi, my name is Diana Jackson. I am dedicated to providing quality child care for children of all ages. I am 29 years old. I am CPR certified. My husband and I have five beautiful children, (boys 9 and 4) (girls 11, 8 and 3.) I have always loved being a care giver and started babysitting in my neighborhood at the age of 12. I received my first Family Child Care license in February 2014 and opened Creative Cubs while my husband was stationed in England with the US Air Force. I received monthly training and completed child care modules through the FCC program. I was able to care for many children from 6 weeks to 10 years old before moving to Ohio in October 2015. Within a couple of days I was hired and started working in the toddler room at Over the Rainbow Children's Center in Pataskala. I love working with all the children in my class 18 months to 3 years old. I have been able to organize the room and bring in many new fun learning activities. Now that we've found our new home in Grove City, I am reopening Creative Cubs. I'm excited to move back to in home day care and be able to have more one on one time with each child. I keep portfolio's and journals for each child, base lesson plans on children's needs and evaluate each child on milestones and prekindergarten skills. I focus on keeping a safe, healthy, and fun environment for kids to learn and play. I believe that making learning fun and providing unique experiences is the best way to teach young children. Meals will be provided for all children eating table food. I'm available 6am - 6pm Monday through Saturday. I'm also provide babysitting services nights and weekends.
