Anita's Day Care

30 Summit Street Bridgeport, CT

I welcome your little ones to come to our fun, safe, and loving home! My daycare is named after my daughter. As a new mom, who was returning to work, she searched for a daycare where her children would be safe, attended to with care, have fun and feel at home in a clean and inviting home. It made all the difference to her and she was able to focus on her work without having to worry. My daycare is here to help families who have to work, and want to make sure their children are in great hands every day. Before opening my daycare, I worked as a private nanny for over 15 years with families in Fairfield, Westport, and Manhattan. I am still in touch with all of those families and love to watch the children I took care of as they grow. If you are looking for a daycare you can trust, where your children will love to come, then give me a call. I am licensed by the State of Connecticut to provide care for children from newborn to kindergarten. I am Infant/Child CPR and First Aid Certified. I am a Care 4 Kids care provider. I provide breakfast, lunch and snacks. I am also available for urgent care needs on Saturdays. Lastly, I am happy to provide references at your request.

Mother Care Doula

382 Allyndale Drive Stratford, CT

I have worked for 25 years in a variety of jobs all pertaining to children. I have 5 children ranged from 35 to 17 years of age. I was a teenage mom, having my daughter at 19. I was married long enough to have 2 more beautiful children before realizing that it was my kids I loved unconditionally not their father who was unreliable. So at 22 I was on my own with my most important 3 little buds, refusing to move home I would raise my children on my own with a little financial but a lot of family support, very little from their dad. At this time I started to help all kinds of Moms that needed help, some I met through working in pediatric offices for 25 as a medical assistant, becoming very close to families who needed help with special needs kids, some to this day remain my closest friends. After leaving pediatrics after 25 years for personal reasons, I began my career (and a grandmother of 2 great grandchildren) as a postpartum doula working in homes of moms and families who needed help in their homes after giving birth, from their choice of wanting help in the home, to just need or an extra pair of hands and for many other reasons (one mom cried every time I cooked a healthy meal for her)...postpartum depression to a mom who needed to be readmitted for medical reasons, I began spending overnights and day hours in homes that needed experienced help, without the care and cost of a baby nurse. I love helping families, my weakness is newborns, I don't do windows but everything else is negotiable! I do overnights, will stay for getaway weekends, I'm First aid and CPR certified. Most of all I have flexible hours and very I am very easygoing and willing to talk about any situation that you may need help with. I have many references willing to talk with you! I am available with 2 weeks notice..and .looking forward to hearing from the family who needs me!!!!
