My child is falling behind in 6th grade after missing some foundational concepts in 2nd-5th grade. She's managed to maintain the expected progress this year, but still needs remediation and coaching on missed concepts.
We would also like a warm, authentic coach to manage her apathy towards school and keep her on task daily between tutoring sessions with encouraging and potentially ad-hoc asynchronous messages.
Past experience as an Elementary or Middle School teacher or guidance counselor will be prioritized.
Scheduling is very flexible and tutoring can be fully hybrid if/when needed. Expectations are to complete 2-4 sessions per week, for 60-90 mins per session, between hours ~5pm-8 p.m. depending on what works.
