Sandy's Home Day Care

3001 Traditions Dr., Killeen, TX

Starting at $140/wk

Hello, my name is Sandra O. Martinez I'm the daycare provider for Ms. Sandy's Home Day care in Killeen, TX. We are a "home-based" childcare home that provides a home-like, loving atmosphere for your child while you're away at work.

I, myself, know the importance of wanting our children cared for by the right person or group of people when we head out to our daily work and/or school-related obligations. I want parents to feel very comfortable when choosing my Child Home Care services for their child or children.

My goal is to provide your child with a safe and loving place that feels like home when daddy and mommy are away. Ms. Sandy's Home Day care will be encouraging our children to grow through age-appropriate play, singing, art and learning the simple basics of sharing and caring.

A little about myself, I'm a married mother of three grown children, who I love dearly. I have also been blessed to be a grandmother to two beautiful grandsons and I have another one on the way, I hoping for a girl! I've decided to start my own daycare after working for 16 years for the state of New Jersey Judiciary as a Family Court investigator working with families in need.

My experience with children: In my earlier years I assisted my own mom with her Childcare Center as an assistant teacher until she retired and closed her doors.

At my last place of employment: I was an Administrator on Duty for a shelter that provided services to teenagers. Which was a challenging job in itself that helped me to grow as an individual in catering to others.

Education: I have my BS. In Human and Community Services with Early Childhood courses including Developmental Psych, Child creative experiences, Early Child Education to name a few.

What I have to offer for you and your family: My home is a loving home, instead of your child being placed in a large facility, I offer a smaller space, which means more attention will be directed toward the children at my daycare. This would allow your child/children to have a more personalized learning experience.
I provide a safe home environment with entry, fire, and carbon monoxide alarm protection. I am Red Cross certified in child CPR and first aid. I will teach your child the basics in early childhood that will start them off at a great advantage.

Sandra is truly an angel. She is EXTREMELY patient with my twins and always has something fun planned for them to do. She really cares about the kids and it shows with all the activities, and time she dedicates to them. My kids literally clap and cheer when I turn on to her street. So I know that they are happy.
