This position requires teaching, with another instructor, groups of up to 14 preschool aged children in themed fitness activities. The instruction takes place on a parked school bus that has been converted into a safe and fun mobile gymnasium. The position requires driving from one daycare to another, leading the children from the daycare facility to the bus, teaching fitness classes on the bus at the facility in 30 minute increments, keeping accurate records of parent s payments and children s attendance in a cloud based data management system, and then returning the children safely back to the daycare facility. At the end of the work day the bus will then be cleaned and disinfected (No Transportation of the Children Occurs). Applicants must have, or be able to obtain certification in First Aid and CPR, pass a State and Federal background check, and pass other state mandated training for daycare environments. Since the position is mobile, often teaching at multiple daycares in one-day, applicants must have a current valid driver s license and reliable personal transportation. This job is very physically active and is best suited for energetic and creative individuals who truly enjoy working with children. Preferred applicants would meet all of the above criteria as well as possess a degree in Elementary or Physical Education, or Exercise Science. Prior experience working with preschool aged children is preferred but not required. The position is currently part-time due to the fact that TumbleBus is an up and coming business in Greenville, but has the potential to become full-time. I will ask that you provide breakfast, and I will provide mid morning snack, hot lunch, afternoon snack, milk/juice for first shift. I will provide snack, hot dinner and a pm snack, milk/juice. I have a clean SLED background, fingerprint and I am first aid/cpr certified. I also have many references for you to check with regarding my care and character. My 20 yr old daughter will be helping with the care of your children. She has over 5 yrs of childcare experience. 4 of those yrs were working in a church daycare in the evenings and was on payroll for that position. She has also been a Nanny for 4 children and is currently keeping a 19 month old in our present home Mon-Fri. She also loves children and has many references. You will not pay each of us. You will pay your rate and she and I will divide the money accordingly. We will not have more than 5 children on each shift. So we will have 4 spaces on first shift and 4 on 2nd shift.
