More About Us

Our founder and president, Tristan, has resided in Bucks County for 26 years 18 years nurtured by his pet-loving mother, Luanne. Tristan has always cherished pets, especially dogs, despite growing up with cats (Rinny- Rin Tin Tin & Pumpkin). Tristan started working with a professional pet sitting business in 2008 and learned the ropes from an experienced pet caregiver. When that pet service became larger, and Tristan was no longer needed, he decided to start his own pet service to connect with his clients differently so that s what he did!

We have the professional know-how to catch you a one in a million pet-sitter who connects with you and your pet. We annually attend a training conference to keep up to date with the ever changing pet industry. You can request the same professional every time and, if possible, your pet will be cared for by someone he already knows and trusts! Offering consistent care means you won t leave, or come back to, a stressed or unhappy pet, and you can get back to business as usual .

As veterinary nurses by trade, we provide both the love of all animals and the medical knowledge to care for your pets. With our medical knowledge, we understand diseases and medical conditions along with the medication(s) your pet is taking. We come with love and compassion that each pet needs and deserves. Pets are apart of the family, and we want to make sure your valued family member is taken care of. Pet sitting service for all of your pet care needs!

Small pet visit- Can run between 15-30 minutes depending on request. Includes feeding, water change, and added cage clean if requested.

Cat visit- Can run up to 30 minutes. Includes feeding, water, litter change, and playtime (if wanted). Price goes up with more than 3 cats.

Mid-day Dog walk- 15 minute mid-day dog walk. Hours vary between 11am-3pm.

Mid-day dog visit- Mid-day dog visit includes feeding, water change, 15 minute walk and can include additional 20 minute playtime. 15 minute walk with 20 minute play time costs up to $30.00.

Overnight stays- Includes up to 14 nights of overnight stay for customers. Can be additional price if there are over 3 pets (cats or dogs only).

I offer in-home behavior training for your dog.

I have owned dogs my whole life and have been formally training dogs for over 10 years. I have learned dogs need a confident leader who understands how they learn. My program will help you communicate effectively with your dog using positive training methods, clear communication, and leadership. Your dog will learn to trust and relax, thus creating a solid foundation for learning.

Here are just a few of the behavior problems my program will address: jumping, barking, begging, whining, resource-guarding, nipping, housebreaking, and anxious behaviors to name a few.

We are an 'in your home' pet sitting and dog walking service serving most of Lower Bucks County since 2010. We are the proud winner of Best of Bucks 2015 and members of Pet Sitters International. Our services include visiting your pet while you are away on business or vacation, mid day potty breaks for pet parents who work long hours and administering medication to our special needs pet clients. We also care for all avian and exotic pets and have two experienced parrot owners on staff. The Pet Nanny is owned and operated by a veterinary technician and all sitters are fully background checked, insured and bonded. We are a family owned business and live in your community. Sitters are CPR/First Aid trained.

Doggie Bags has been providing exceptional pet care to Bucks county since 1997.
We work 365 days a year and visit your pet anytime from 7am to 10pm.
Feeding and administering medicine is included. We will walk and play with your dog or dogs, and cats are fed and litter is scooped daily. Water is changed at every visit.
