We offer many different services for you and your pet set at reasonable prices:
-$10 per half hour visit (refill water dish, going "outside," feedings, accident cleanup, playtime, a treat and a puppy massage)
-$5 extra for 15 min walk
-$5 extra for litter box cleanup
-$5 extra for brushing fur (for more than 10 minutes) and teeth
-$2 extra for additional pet care
Forget to take the trash out? Think you left some doors unlocked? Need someone to bring in your mail and rotate lights? We can take care of those things as well at no extra cost!

Work long hours? On vacation? Let us take care of the furry side of things. We offer a wide variety of services, from dog walking to home visits and vacation or trip care. All services include one-on-one time, feeding, exercise/play and clean up. Baths can be included for a minimal fee. Text and picture updates upon request. Use us for a day or extended periods. We are here for you!

Dog walking - $5 - 15 minute walk / $10 - 30 minute walk.

Daily Check-Ins - $10 - 1 visit / $15 - 2 visits / $20 - 3 visits (includes feeding, playtime/exercise, light grooming, a treat and a walk if applicable).

Emergency/Last Minute Care - $15 - 1 visit / $20 - 2 visits / $25 - 3 visits (emergency care is any care scheduled within 24 hours of the first visit).

We can provide you with private personal transportation, personal general care, pet care, and can even assist with menu and exercise program planning. Feel better in the comfort of your own home. We specialize in care and daily living assistance to an array of individuals. Whether you need hourly, daily or weekly assistance due to aging, illness, recovery, or rehabilitation, our care givers will provide an individualized service that you can trust.

I have been in business for 2 years in the Cedar Rapids area. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats of my own.

My name is Kristen and I am the owner of Safe Pet Sitters. I am an avid lover of all pets big and small. I created Safe Pet Sitters because I came across the same problem many of my customers have come across. What can I do with my pets when I am away? My husband travels for business and I have taken every opportunity to travel with him in the past. I created Safe Pet Sitters because I wanted to have a safe environment for my pets, but I also wanted to create a safe environment for other peoples pets.

I began pet sitting for family and friends at 16 years old as a sophomore at a local Cedar Rapids High School. Now , 10 years later, I decided it was time to share my knowledge and love for animals with others. Since the age of 18 I have worked in corporate facilities in Cedar Rapids. I got married last year and my husband allowed me to stop working in a job that I was unhappy with and gave me the opportunity to do something that I love. Everyday is a new adventure and it is such a joy to meet new people and the animals they love.

As owners of animals we wonder what they will be like as they get big, little do we know how much of an impact we will have on their personality traits. May we all have positive impacts on our furry family members. I look forward to serving my current and new customers.
