I have been told how my love for people, animals, and life shows through the way I speak and live day to day. I find joy in helping the elderly. It truly has been a double blessing since 2004. I have been trained by the best and constantly schooling myself in subjects pertaining to aging. Most of my jobs have had situations with such cases. I had no problem connecting, relating and reversing the moments of confusion and fear. I was able to help guide them in making their own decisions; whether it was about what to wear, how we got mentally ready for the shower or the stairs, what to eat, and how they could help in the preparation. I am an engaging personality and my clients seem to appreciate that. I include them rather than to let them sit idle. As a chef, I have dealt with many dietary needs and health challenges over the years none too great or small.

I have extensive experience with Alzheimer/Parkinson/Diabetes. I am also a private chef. I bring honesty peace of mind and responsibility to work with me. I will supervise and assist my client in all of their needs. I include fun and both mental and physical exercise to my daily itinerary. I have 10+ years experience working with children of all ages and of varying needs. I have experience with children with special needs including Autism, Down Syndrome, and Aspergers. I also have experience working with children with physical disabilities including Spina Bifida, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, and Cerebral Palsy. I was a live-in nanny for 4+ years for the same family with 3 children. I am currently taking a break from being a chef, and would like to provide care services for a family in need. My prices are negotiable and am flexible on dates and times; but would prefer a set schedule. I live in the Jonathan Creek valley of Waynesville, and am willing to travel and/or host.
