PRESCHOOL: As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our Preschool program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, structured activities, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science, and social studies concepts. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too. Ages 2-3: Let us help your 2-year-old develop his/her independence and confidence in a setting that encourages a sense of community. We plan your child's activities based on a program grounded in early childhood fundamentals. Your young learner will increase her language ability, practice early counting skills and learn to cooperate with friends through group activities. TODDLERS: As toddlers develop friendships, self-esteem, and curiosity, our Toddler program will help them explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment. Our curriculum is based on the philosophy that children learn best through experiences such as circle time (learning letters & numbers in both English and Spanish). So each day is filled with fun activities, indoors and out, that excite and develop toddlers, giving them the comfort and confidence to speak those first few important words, as well as make their first friends. INFANTS: Babies grow and learn every day. Our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing "home away from home" where babies can explore and make new discoveries. We know that learning through play is extremely valuable at this age and our Infant program is designed to give babies the skills that will serve as the building blocks for a lifetime of learning.

I have been providing childcare in my Prunedale home for over 20 years. I love watching the changes in the children. They keep me smiling all day. It is so great to touch these sweet lives. The age range in my family childcare is 2 through 5 years old. I am licensed for 8 children but usually try to keep my childcare at 6. I belong to a food & nutrition program. I use only organic milk and juice and also organic fruit and veggies when available. I am CPR and First Aid Certified. Two years before the children start Kindergarten, I have a great Preschool program. We have calendar time & weather awareness in our opening activity. They learn numbers, sounds, letters, and following directions. We do art projects and learn our socialization skills. We have a different theme each month and parents receive a letter to support our activities. My hours are 7:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M. I am open Monday through Friday. My philosophy is "Good Beginnings Never End" I have many, many references. Give me a call for more information.

I have 27 years of experience and 27 Early Childhood Education units. I'm a certified preschool teacher by the State of California. There are only 2 or 3 students at a time, centers have a10 kids to 1 teacher ratio. I take students from 3-5 years old, must be fully potty trained. We study 3 subjects a month and the children learn all that they will need for kindergarten. The play and learning areas are roomy and fun. My rates are very affordable, just $120 a week! Why so low? I am not as spry as I was in my 30's when I started my business but make up for that with lots of attention for the children, my years of expereice and education.
