Hi my name is Kristie. I am a 38 year old Christian mother of two wonderful children who are 7 & 9, & a Pediatric nurse. I would like to take the summer off to spend time with the kids and work as a nurse on a call-in basis. I am very excited to provide Summer Child Care in my home. (If all goes well I would like to continue child care in my home during the school year as well.) I have been babysitting and taking care of children for over 25 years! I have been in the medical field for 20 years this year. I know how costly daycare centers can be, I will be below those prices. Your cost here will depend on how many hours, amount of children, day or night hours. If you have more than one child I will give you a "discounted rate". Meals & snacks will be included in your cost. Almost all hours are available during the week as well as some weekends. I know first hand how difficult it can be to find a sitter for jobs with unconventional hours. All ages are welcome. I am CPR certified with BLS and ACLS. I am also able to take care of children with special needs. Some examples are (but not limited to) Feeding tubes (all types) monitors, preemies, oxygen, trachs. I will watch your child if they are sick. We like to spend a lot of time out doors during the summer & at the pool. You can get your own pool pass or add your child on to my pass. My house is within walking distance to the park, library & pool. We will go on field trips. I will provide the food, I will ask for the cost of admission if there is one. We will do crafts, play games, go fishing, the list is endless.I have a large play room with different age appropriate toys. We will also do some learning activities, fun of course, but I still want to keep the kids thinking. :) I had to have a clear background check to obtain and maintain my nursing license. I also have my fingerprints on file. If you would like me to have an additional background check I have no problem with that. There is an open door policy when your children are here. Meaning you don't have to knock or call to let me know you are on your way. I am so excited to start off the summer with a great group of kids. I look forward to hearing from you to discuss having the opportunity to take care of your child(ren). ** I chose the name "Butterfly kisses" after a little boy with many medical issues that passed away in 2000. I had the pleasure of taking care of. He loved butterflies and every time I see one, I think of him and smile.**

My name is Shelly and I can't wait to be your family childcare provider! I have lived in Baltimore with my husband and 2 children (ages 11 and 7) for the last 10 yrs. Both of my children are active in school and sports, being active and involved are very important to us. I am a nurse who also has a background in Early Childhood Development. I have childcare experience including in home childcare as well as working in nurseries, daycare facilities, and summer day camps. I have experience with children ages newborn to 14 yrs. Because of my medical training I currently have active certification in first aid for children as well as CPR for infants and children. I will provide childcare in my home from 6 a.m. -6 p.m. , Monday-Friday, for ages 8 wks to 12 yrs. Breakfast, lunch, and a snack will be provided daily at no additional cost. I will read with the children and provide daily/weekly crafts and activities for them. I have a fenced in backyard so there will be plenty of supervised outside play time and we love to play games at our house so there will be plenty of that too! School comes first with us so during the school year homework help will be provided and learning activities/games will be available all year. During the summer we will participate in the local library reading programs as we are able to and possibly go to local parks and/or playgrounds. My family is involved with 4H so project book help may be available if your child is already enrolled with a club. Hourly rates vary depending on your child's age and needs. Please contact me with and questions, I can't wait to hear from you!

Hi my name is Kristie. I am a Pediatric nurse and have recently decided to start watching children from my home. I have been taking care of kids ever since I was old enough. ;) A little about me, I am 37 with two kids who are 7 & 9. We enjoy being outside as much as possible. We live a block from the park/pool and 2 blocks from the library. We like to go camping, fishing, hiking, the pool, crafts, slumber parties, church and spending time with family and friends. I have the entire bottom half of the house dedicated to kids. We have a huge play room, a room for the TV/Wii. A partial kitchen and of course you have to have a potty. It's not always fun and games though. I am very involved with the kids education and sports activities. We study every night for their their tests on Fridays, get our homework done every night and read before bedtime. They are both A students and have never been in trouble at school. And they love kids as much as I do. I am big on healthy foods but of course they get to have their treats. ;) I have experience with babysitting medically fragile children as well as those without disabilities. For example if your child is on an apnea monitor, oxygen, has a feeding tube or trach, I am your girl. I can honestly say that I know how it feels to trust someone with your most precious blessings. You are always welcome in my home anytime, not just pick up/drop off times. You are welcome to call a million times a day to check on your kid(s), Lord knows I did! ;) I look forward to hearing from you. Good luck in your search. ;)
