I have no certificates to care for special needs, but I do have experience caring for a down syndrome child. I want to become an Occupational Therapist, and have interned at pediatric therapy locations, which have given me insight and education with working with children with special needs. I have shadowed over 50 hours observing occupational therapists (which has been super helpful with caring for special needs children).
