About Zoe

I'd describe my personality as caring, patient, sweet, and hard-working. I love working with kids because nothing makes me happier than fostering children's creativity, wonder, and knowledge. Right now I am looking for jobs over my summer break between June 12th and August 21st. During the school year I study political science and education at WWU. In my spare time, I like to do art, walk in nature, read, cook, and garden when the weather is nice. I am happy to cook, spend time outside, and do lots of arts and crafts with your kids. I have lots of certifications for childcare from my job working for the YMCA, including infant and child CPR, first aid, and 30 hrs of STARS training. I also have experience working with children with a variety of special needs such as physical and cognitive disabilities, ADHD, ODD, anxiety, non- verbal children and childen with autism.
