Kathy was with us for about 5 months, taking care of our 2yo son. The reason we had to part ways was because my started school. Kathy was wonderful with our son from day one. She felt more like a grandmother than a nanny - warm, loving, and so patient. She made sure to follow his schedule, and I really appreciated how she always checked in with us to see if what she was doing was working. She kept him busy with age-appropriate activities and even brought toys and books from her house so he was always learning and engaged. Whether inside or outside, she always put his safety and comfort first. One of the things we valued most about Kathy was how dependable she was. She was never late (except once, and she gave us a heads up) and didn’t take any days off. She was also flexible and willing to stay extra hours if we asked in advance. Kathy was easy to talk to, open to feedback, and quick to adjust. Most importantly, our son adored her and we always knew he was in good hands.
