I have worked with kids aged infant-17 for the past 12 years. I have worked as a gymnastics and snowboarding coach, camp counselor, and nanny. I am comfortable planning activities, homework help, meal prep, and helping out around the house. For the past 7 years I have been working as a filmmaker and I have decided to change careers to nursing. I am currently in school and looking for part-time work that will allow me to be in school part-time as well. In the past 7 years, I have still worked at a summer camp, most recently in August 2022. So, while my career focus has not been on kids for the past few years, I still have recent experiences working with them. The summer camp I have worked at for 8 years, Camp Tawonga, was featured in the New York Times for being an outstanding example of trans inclusion at a children's summer camp, which I was directly involved with. I am learning ASL and would be happy to teach your child some.
