About Emily

Hi! I am a student at UCLA looking for a babysitting job:) I started working with kids when I was about 13 doing some babysitting for local families, something I have continued to do for the past ~7 years as much as I can. However, when I was 10, my younger sister was born, so I had a lot of exposure to child care and taking care of an infant/ toddler between the ages of 10 and 13 as well. Additionally, when I was 15 I began nannying for a family over the summer with two boys, then ages 2 and 8 months, and have been with them every summer since (current ages are 6 and 8). In my spare time, I try to be outside as much as I can. I enjoy going for runs/ hikes on trails, surfing, going to the beach, biking, etc... I also enjoy baking and try to make time for this as much as I can. Lastly, I love reading and am always looking for some new books! I also teach dance classes to children/ young adults with disabilities in my free time through a club at school.
