About Kate

Hi! I'm Kate, a 26-year-old living in Culver City. I'm originally from Iowa and moved to Los Angeles in 2020 for college. I recently decided to go back to school and am excited to return to one of my biggest passions: working with children. I've been caring for kids for over 13 years, starting as a babysitter at 13. Since then, I've taught swim lessons, tutored students, spent four summers as a sleepaway camp counselor, worked as a full-time summer nanny, and continued babysitting for families over the years. I've cared for children of all ages and love building meaningful relationships with both kids and parents. I'm patient, dependable, creative, and love being goofy and having fun with kids while also respecting each family's routines, rules, and parenting style.
