Hello! My caregiving experience started with a full time job at a group home, where I was promoted to house manager. I then became a Special Ed Instructor at a day program. In 2015, I had the opportunity to move in with my grandfather. He didn't need 24/7 care so I was able to work my full time job, and in the nights and weekends I'd assist him with medication, groceries, exercises, showers, etc. I'm grateful I had that time to get to know him so well. Unfortunately, he has now moved into a home. I hope to continue these rewarding experiences by helping those I can on nights and weekends.
