About Zaida

Thanks for visiting my page! My name is Zaida, and I've been working with children since I was 15. I am registered nurse in the adult medical-surgical specialty. So I love the opportunity to take a break from the adult setting and work with children! I've babysat (including overnights) for individual families, ran a tutoring service in college and worked for the NY Department of Education with students in temporary housing. As a former camp CIT, I've had plenty of experience providing fun for children in a safe environment. There I taught salsa dancing, arts and crafts, kayaking, and archery, but I love calm rainy day games as well! A day with me usually consists of any homework that your child is required to complete, some outdoor time if the parent allows, arts and crafts, movies, and indoor games. But of course, I am open to what both child and parents want done! As a nurse, safety is my priority. I am BLS and ACLS certified. I look forward to working with your family!
