About Yumi

Hello! I'm Yumi, and I beleive it truly takes a supportive, and caring village to help raise a child. I always strive to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable being themselves. I also help with general home care such as meal prep, tidying up, or general house support to help life a little easier for parents. A lot of my experience comes from helping my own family as a child, being the oldest of 6. My most recent experience with infants, is helping my oldest sister take care for her three kids under the age of 4, while she balanced getting back to work as a single mom. This taught me patience, flexibility, and how important reliable support can be especially with kids. I am infant, child, and adult CPR certified through oregon red cross, and am currently pursuing my education as a medical assistant. I love connecting with kids through arts and crafts, reading, outdoor activities, simple baking, imaginative play, and fun learning experiences.
