About Yewande

I recently graduated with honors with a degree in psychology, including minors in chemistry and creative writing, from the University of Miami. As a 4. 0 student, I absolutely loved and valued learning, and I hope to make education a more rewarding and manageable student for other youth! I have two years of experience as a volunteer ELA tutor for middle school aged students from underserved communities, as well as one year of experience as a paid tutor for athletes studying algebra. I take a collaborative approach to teaching, allowing the student to guide each session's focus and even perform lectures with me. I am patient, communicative, and willing to bend to your needs! In my free time, I enjoy reading, creative writing, reality TV, and a nice walk.
