About Yein

I am an artist based in Manhattan with a BFA and MFA from a top art school and years of experience as a designer. I offer art and craft sessions for children ages 4 to 12 and specialize in portfolio preparation and review for art school applicants. I was accepted to SAIC, RISD, Parsons, and Pratt with scholarship, teaching assistantship, and financial aid as an international applicant. My teaching nurtures creativity, respects each student's interests, and helps them develop artistic voice and technical skills. Art and Craft Lessons focus on imagination, motor skills, and self-expression. Rate: $60/hour (materials not included). Portfolio Preparation Sessions help students build strong portfolios through concept and technical development. Each 90-minute session is $120 (materials not included). Portfolio Feedback Sessions offer expert review, curation, and interview prep for students with existing portfolios. Rate: $100/hour, online or in person.
