I'm a visual artist with an MFA in painting who has taught children for most of my adult life. I began working as an enrichment teacher in public schools at age 14, and have taught/tutored children in art ever since. I love to encourage kids to find their creative side, even if conventional methods don't appeal to them! I'm skilled in drawing, painting, sculpting with both traditional and unconventional materials, fiber art, digital art and more. I've worked with a broad range of ages, from Kindergarten to Seniors in high school, I love teaching kids at any stage of a creative journey, whether they're just finding their interests, or developing a college portfolio (I have taught a precollege summer course at Cooper Union).
