About Yazmin

Hi! I'm Yazmin, I'm currently a student at BMCC, studying to become a pediatric speech therapist one day. I've always loved being around kids and helping them learn, grow, and have fun which is a big reason why I'm excited about working in speech therapy in the future! I'm Mexican, and my culture is a big part of who I am. I love sharing it through food, stories, and traditions when the moment's right. In my free time, I'm super into arts and crafts painting, coloring, or making little DIY projects. I also love getting out and exploring new places, whether it's a park, a cool little café, or a museum. I try to bring that same sense of curiosity and fun when I'm babysitting. I'm patient, responsible, and always make sure kids feel safe, heard, and cared for. I'd love to be a friendly and helpful part of your child's day whether that means playtime, help with homework, or just being someone they can count on.
