Making a difference in people's lives is what drives me as a caregiver. While not being reimbursed monetarily, I have provided extensive care. My father had Alzheimer's disease. I was also health proxy to my uncle (metastatic cancer) and proxy as well to my cousin (liver cirrhosis). I took personal care of all 3 until the end. One included helping with hospice care. I have a high school degree and 2 years of experience providing care to adults and seniors. My approach is rooted in patience, compassion, and a friendly demeanor. I aim to earn your trust while adapting to changing routines and de-escalating stressful situations. I am comfortable handling confusion, agitation, or behavioral changes. I offer transportation, run errands, provide personal care, light housekeeping, dementia care, and medical management. I follow the family's preferred communication method. I'm fluent in English and Spanish. I'm eager to bring my skills and caring heart to your family.
