About Winter

I am a recent English graduate, published poet/memoirist and musician with a passion for English and art. I have always been inspired by the intrinsic curiosity and creativity of children and want to help them build confidence and voice through reading and writing. I believe that developing these skills extends beyond the arts into a proficiency for learning and critical thinking in all subjects. One of my core values is an educator is that a sustainable path to learning is different for all students, and should be tailored to them as individuals. I seek to create an environment of trust, open dialogue, patience, and encouragement for learners. I have experience as a tutor, nanny and teaching assistant and am excited to get back into the field of teaching and care!
