About Willa

Hi yall! My name is Willa and I'm a nursing student at UVM. For me, becoming a part time caregiver was a natural step for me. It's been fueled by positive experiences in previous babysitting roles and a genuine desire to positively impact children's lives. As a nursing student, I've always had a passion to work with kids. I have four years of experience caring for children. I'm friendly and approachable, and prioritize clear communication with parents, following your preferred method for regular updates about your child's day. I will always follow your lead when it comes to enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, physical games, board games, and puzzles with children. I am also happy to help with cooking and meal preparation, carpooling, and light housekeeping. I am trained in First Aid and CPR, and have completed Early Child Development Coursework. I also have my wilderness first responder (WFR) certification as well as Stop the Bleed certification.
