About Lydia

Nurturing children and watching them blossom is my greatest joy. My eight years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, have solidified my passion. I work as a substitute teacher and for an Encore program where I instruct enrichment activities for elementary school students. I'm patient, friendly, and dedicated to creating a safe and stimulating environment for your little ones. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children, and I'm happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. I am in my third year of nursing school at UVM and I am certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that encourage learning. I always follow the parents' lead regarding household rules and communication preferences, providing verbal updates at pickup and regular text or phone calls. Knowing I can make a positive impact on your child's life fills me with purpose.
