I'm an experienced infant and toddler caregiver looking for part-time, occasional, and back-up work now through August 2025. I've worked for the past 8 years as a full-time infant/toddler nanny, have experience caring for multiple children at the same time, and have also worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor for a range of ages. My passion in working with children is to help raise emotionally-intelligent, compassionate, and self-confident kids. I see my role both as a caregiver, companion, and role-model for kids, as well as a support for parents to further develop their own skills and relationships with their kids. In my work I focus on clear communication (with kids and adults), holding space for kid's experiences and big feelings, connecting through play and laughter, and working through challenges/difficult behaviors while centering the worth and well-being of all kids.

I feel fortunate that Wes “Emrys” was my son’s nanny from six months to three years old. As a parent you can only hope for someone that cares for your kid like family and approaches their work with thoughtfulness and intention. Emrys always took him outside (rain or shine), found creative ways to engage him with stuff around the house or community activities, and helped him through the social and emotional challenges of being a toddler. We loved having Emrys as a co-caretaker and now a lifelong friend. Any kid would be lucky to spend time with Emrys.
