About Wes

I'm an experienced infant and toddler caregiver looking for part-time, occasional, and back-up work now through August 2025. I've worked for the past 8 years as a full-time infant/toddler nanny, have experience caring for multiple children at the same time, and have also worked as a lifeguard and swim instructor for a range of ages. My passion in working with children is to help raise emotionally-intelligent, compassionate, and self-confident kids. I see my role both as a caregiver, companion, and role-model for kids, as well as a support for parents to further develop their own skills and relationships with their kids. In my work I focus on clear communication (with kids and adults), holding space for kid's experiences and big feelings, connecting through play and laughter, and working through challenges/difficult behaviors while centering the worth and well-being of all kids.
