Hi! My name is Wendy and I've been a CNA for 23 years; BLS, CPR and AED certified. I have experience in Restorative care, Respite care and Life Skills training. I pride myself in being reliable, flexible, compassionate; and with that, a great sense of humor. My experiences are Nursing homes, Hospice Care centers and Home care.

Wendy is extraordinarily compassionate, reliable, punctual, and hardworking. She approached every aspect of caregiving with patience, attentiveness, and genuine kindness, always treating my mother with dignity and respect. Her loving presence, practical support, warmth, humor, and joy brought comfort to my mother and helped brighten the last 5 month of her life. 
We will always be deeply grateful for the devoted care Wendy gave my mother and the reassurance she provided our family. Anyone fortunate enough to have Wendy care for a loved one will be in exceptional hands. I recommend her wholeheartedly and without reservation!

It’s very hard to put in words the kind of caregiver Wendy is. 
She is more than amazing. 
We hired Wendy to care for my Mother several years ago. She was not only with my Mother but really loved her. She took me Mother anywhere she wanted to go. To the beach, lunch, ice cream. Anywhere Mom wanted to go. 
She kept her clean and fed most of all happy. 
Wendy taught us how to take care of my elderly mother. She passed 3 months short of 102. Wendy was with her until the end. 
In many ways, Wendy took care of us and will always be considered one of our family. She is a wonderful person.

Wendy is an answer to prayer.  Our mother is 98 years old and was very resistant to help from outside the family.  As a result of mom's short-term memory issues and her determination to be independent, while not physically able, mom can be difficult.  BUT, not to Wendy!  Wendy has stepped in and immediately became more than a friend.  She's part of the family.  Mom's best days are when Wendy is there to support mom's independence, while making sure she is properly cared for.  Wendy is always upbeat, high-energy and creates an encouraging environment for mom.  All I can say is that we love Wendy and are so thankful for her care!

She is an angel! She gave my mother the care and kindness above all other. She is truly wonderful!

My mom was so comfortable with Wendy. Although I lived in a different state, I was so thankful to have someone so caring, dependable, kindhearted and loving taking care of mom.  I consider Wendy part of the family and would never hesitate to have her as a caregiver.   When mom went to the hospice facility,  Wendy went and stayed by her side every minute.  I can never thank Wendy for not only being a caregiver but also my Mom's friend.

Wendy is a WONDERFUL, CARING, HARD WORKING, CHEERFUL caregiver who has become a lifelong friend. My mother loved Wendy's care and Wendy's help made it possible, and enjoyable, for her to live in her condo until her last days. She always looked forward to seeing Wendy. Our whole family loves Wendy. She gets things done, anticipates needs, brings joy into the room, and truly cares for her clients. If you can get Wendy to help care for your loved one, you will be lucky. After you know her, you will be grateful for making a great choice.

Wendy became a part of our family. 
 For my dad, who was well into Alzheimer's disease, wendy would spend her days doing things Dad had enjoyed. Walking the dog, talking Va Tech football (he was a die hard fan), and going out to dinner. Even when he was being lazy in his chair for too long she'd say 'Come on Joe, let's go to movie'. 

She did things that we would've done had we been there. Or maybe we wouldn't have cuz WE were lazy. 

She did her job to the utmost. We still live 950 miles away from where Dad lived so her presence everyday was critical to his comfort, peace, and friendships. 

Dad would refer to previous helpers as the Maid. But not Wendy. There was a beautiful respect there. We continue to be friends.
