Hey! I've been a Mom for 40 years, and have raised 4 awesome sons! I also have an adorable 7-year-old granddaughter and a 4-year-old grandson! I've provided infant care, taught Preschool, Mothers Morning Out, and Day Care. I've been a Substitute Teacher in the public schools K-5th grade in 3 states, and assisted in a Montessori program. I have an Associates Degree in Human Services and a Bachelors degree in Social Work. I enjoy caring for children & making them happy. I love babysitting for parents to work, to get out for much needed date nights, appointments, education, sick days, or "me" time. I'm willing to travel with family for assistance. I'm comfortable with pets! I am COVID free & have been vaccinated. At this time I'm looking for a 25-35 hour weekly nanny, or after-school care position. I also am happy to baby sit for date nights. Wendy cared for our son from the time he was 3 months old until 18 months. She loved and cared for him as if he were her own, and the bond she built with him was really special. She was wonderful about singing and teaching him all kinds of nursery rhymes, reading to him every day, and encouraging play that helped him learn and explore. We saw so much growth in his development, confidence, and curiosity thanks to the time she spent with him. Wendy is dependable, patient, and incredibly nurturing. Any family would be lucky to have her caring for their child.
