About Walter

I like tutoring because it lets me help others get excited about learning and confident in their problem-solving skills. As a math tutor, I'm especially looking to work with students who aren't too confident in their math skills. I want to help them believe in themselves and teach them how to approach problems with critical thinking strategies that will also help them in the real world. In my spare time, I love to read science fiction novels, play ultimate frisbee, and go mountain biking. One thing you should know about me is that I am a very patient teacher and will never get frustrated or impatient with my students. I believe kindness is what underlies a successful teacher-student relationship.
