Vonda cared for our infant from 5 to 8 months old, and we couldn't have asked for a better fit for our family. She is warm, loving, and completely trustworthy — our baby thrived with her, and our 6-year-old adored her too.

Beyond the love she brought, Vonda was consistently reliable, always punctual, and a wonderful communicator. She respected and supported every parenting decision we made without question. Having her felt like welcoming a true member of our family.

I wish there was six stars!! Vonda is beyond amazing, Mary Poppins style nanny who goes above and beyond and is super detail oriented. My son loves her as does our whole family! 

We hired Vonda when our first son was 9 months old. She began as a part time nanny and swiftly became an essential part of our busy household. Over the course of the next four years, Vonda was the backbone of our home, functioning not only as support for our two (and then, three!) children, but for myself and my husband in our work. She came 3-5 days a week totaling up to 30 hours per week, even cooking three of our weeknight meals. 

Vonda is the consummate nanny as she has advanced childhood education degrees, loves children, is widely experienced having been an educator and owner of a childcare facility, and has a loving and caring personality. Beyond that, she is punctual, courteous, extremely organized and efficient, and very responsive. This combination is extremely rare and highly valued. 

As a business owner with a growing business, and partner to a busy physician, having Vonda's help was essential for our family. Her work went beyond the trust we put in her to keep our child

Vonda is a gem. She worked for us from February 2013 through May 2014. The only reason she does not still work for us is because we moved out of state. I wish we could have brought her with us. It is my extreme honor and privilege to write a letter of reference for Vonda J. Although Vonda was only in our employment part time for 6 months she really became like a member of our family. Her main responsibility in our home was to care for our infant son who was 4 months old when she started with us. She also cared for our 6 year old daughter regularly when she wasn't in school. 

The first thing we noticed about Vonda was that she had the absolute magic touch with our baby. From the first time meeting her he always lit up when she came in the room and she could get him down for his naps with no struggle at all. Something we still aspire to do! 

During the time Vonda was with us we were in the middle of a huge life transition of selling our house, moving and then preparing to move to Indonesia. There were countless details and tasks to attend to and Vonda both helped with these wherever possible and kept our kids on schedule, fed them and kept our house running smoothly while we were occupied with all of those matters. 

Vonda is masterful at anticipating what is needed, large and small and quickly volunteers her assistance or just takes care of it, often before we had even noticed. Like when we needed extra help packing she suggested a friend of hers to bring in for a few days. When our daughter was out of school then Vonda brought her 13 year old daughter along to help entertain our daughter. We will miss all of her help and attention to detail. 

The really special thing about Vonda though is that she can do all of those things and with so much warmth and heart. She cared for our children and home like it were her own, with a lot of love and care. She also has so much experience with children that she could easily notice the developmental milestones stages in each of our children. What was most appropriate for them at that given moment, and easily anticipate what was coming next and how to ready ourselves and them for that stage. This was all done in a matter of fact manner, sharing wisdom like an aunt or grandmother would. 

Vonda was extremely punctual and flexible to our schedule, when available. On many occasions I appreciated what a very clear communicator she is as she quickly reached out to clarify anything that might not be totally clear. She is totally trustworthy, in addition to trusting her with our children and home we've also left the title of one of our vehicles with her, when it sells she'll be the one to pass it on for us! 

Despite the fact that I don't really like having any extra people around our house Vonda is the exception, she is a real pleasure to have around and is so genuinely helpful, supportive and pleasant that it was always a relief when she arrived.

How nice is it to know for sure that after Vonda has been there that the children will be well rested, well fed, have time outside in nature, and the house will be tidier. Is she the modern day Mary Poppins? We think so. 

I have no hesitation in recommending Vonda for any capacity of nanny position. I would also recommend her for a position such as house manager or personal assistant in a home or business capacity.

Vonda is a gem!  She is smart, caring, and a true self starter.  She has a sweet and funny personality.  Vonda has worked for us from February 2013 through May 27th, 2014.  She started with us when our second son was 4 months old. Her extensive early childhood education background has proven to be very helpful with our family.  She not only bonded with our younger son but she also worked very well with our older son, who is 4.5 years old. Vonda has worked regularly with us during the week and often for our date nights.  We also took out of town trips where she stayed with the boys.  We trust her fully and are sorry to leave town and lose her. She clearly loves what she does and is very talented.  Any family would be lucky to have her as a part of their daily life!  I cannot say enough positive things about Vonda.  We will truly miss her.
