About Rhonda

As a Newborn Care Specialist, I have found my "calling"! Let me lend an extra set of hands and a listening ear. I can help you build confidence in your own skill set, and sometimes, just allow time for you to sleep, heal and better enjoy the early weeks that go SO quickly! I'd describe my personality as nurturing, responsible, and empathetic. I like working with kids because they bring joy to my heart, and I can help them have a better foundation for life, and help their family in small (and big) ways. In my spare time I also do volunteer work, including "adopting" a local senior citizen during Covid, One thing you should know about me is that mothering comes naturally to me, but I NEVER forget that this is YOUR child. I make recommendations, discuss options, but decisions about methods of care are always for the parents to make. I am there to support YOU and the child. My skills include infant/child first aid, CPR and AED, and gentle massage for gassy/fussy newborns.
