Val served as a caregiver to my husband for 8 consecutive years as my husband's Parkinson's disease progressed over that time. Val is an exceptional caregiver and person. She treated my husband as she would a member of her own family. I give my strongest recommendation for Val as a caregiver to anyone's loved one. Val is highly competent, loyal, dependable and goes above and beyond to provide a quality of life for her clients. As my husband's disease progressed and Paul was wheelchair bound with dementia Val did what was necessary to keep him at home to have a dignified qualify of life. Val bathed, clothed and fed him, prepared his meals, helped him with exercises, took him to doctor appointments and to visit friends. Val worked alongside of me to make sure he was properly medicated to control the symptoms of Parkinson's. I would sometimes be gone from home for days at a time and I did not have to worry about my husband's care while I was gone.
