About Vivian

Vivian is absolutely AMAZING!!! She was the best caregiver I could ask for my 6-year-old daughter, as my child had only ever had family members babysit and my mom had been her primary care provider but was no longer able to do so. This was a huge transition for my daughter and she very quickly came to trust and love Vivian (which is not hard because Vivian is awesome). Vivian was super responsive during the interview process and is very responsible and professional (which was confirmed when I spoke with her references and in our own experience with her). She always communicated proactively and very clearly. I very much appreciated that one time she was going to have an upcoming and completedly unexpected absence and even offered to find alternative babysitters for the day she would be out. Vivian clearly cared for my child and I appreciate the love and attention she provided, as well as offering the necessary discipline that is needed with caring for young children. She struck that balance beautifully. To be honest, sometimes I felt like my child listened more to Vivian than she did with me. Theirs was definitely a special relationship. My daughter became very attached to Vivian and there was definitely separation anxiety when Vivian returned to school. I would hire Vivian again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her. I wish we could hire her again for the summer, but we have someone else that we are retaining from the school year.
