About Vida

Hi! My name is Vida, and I am a 20-year-old bilingual childcare provider fluent in both English and Spanish. I have experience caring for children through family, family friends, and professional childcare settings. I currently work with the YMCA, where I have gained valuable experience working with children of different ages. In the YMCA after-school program, I work with children ages 4-8, supervising activities, assisting with homework, encouraging positive behavior, and helping create a safe and welcoming environment. I have also worked in a summer day camp program with 4-year-olds, leading games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, educational activities, and group activities. I am CPR and First Aid trained and always prioritize children's safety and well-being. I am patient, dependable, responsible, and caring. I enjoy helping children learn, grow, build confidence, and have fun. My goal is to provide families with reliable, trustworthy childcare. I love planning fun activities too.
