Hello friends! My name is Tori and I am an experienced caregiver for children and adults with special needs. I have worked with adults that have dementia. My duties included stimulating activities, feeding, and managing behaviors. I have also worked as a nanny to a boy with severe ADHD, autism spectrum, and destructive behaviors. My duties included helping him with schoolwork, feeding, driving to activities, and helping him deescalate and manage his behaviors. My most recent experience has been with a 14-year-old girl with Down Syndrome. My duties included helping her out of the bus after school, down/play time, feeding, and occasionally taking her out to do something fun. I really grew a special bond with her.
