We interviewed Vitoria and checked her references. All seemed fine. We had her come out for an introduction to see our kids routine. We set a start date and negotiated the rate. On the day she was set to start, she sent a text saying she could not start today “due to personal” reasons. She never responded to any other messages. She’s a native Spanish speaker and English is difficult for her, maybe she was overwhelmed. But the communication was a big issue. A really sweet person otherwise.
