About Victoria

I'm very passionate about early childhood education! I was an Assistant at a Montessori School and instantly fell in love with it. I implement basic Montessori principles like respect, independence, and self directed learning. I don't interrupt the child while they are focused. I encourage them to complete a task on their own instead of asking for help. An example of this is a child asking for help to peel an orange. I would encourage them to keep trying, guide them to push their thumb harder into the peel, or even demonstrate on my own orange. This gives them another chance to complete the task on their own and gain some pride and independence. I also always encourage children to help clean. They enjoy it and it makes them feel important. They gain practical life skills and they love to show their parents when they get home. I can take children to any practices, playdates, ect around the city! I'm certified in Early Care Orientation Training & Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma
