Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With 25 years of experience, I hold a graduate degree and specialize in reading and writing for upper elementary and middle school students. I create a supportive, patient environment where I adapt my methods by observing how students interact with new material and incorporating your feedback. To keep students motivated, I break complex problems into manageable steps and connect lessons to their personal interests. I believe clear communication builds the trust necessary for a successful partnership, and I provide regular updates to keep parents involved. Since I have experience with challenging students, I would love to help you build confidence and achieve your goals. I am happy to meet at your home, the library, or a local coffee shop.
