I'm passionate about empowering students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. With four years of experience, I actively listen and observe students' initial interactions with new material to assess their individual learning style. I then adapt my teaching methods accordingly. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to real-world examples or their personal interests. Celebrating small successes and providing consistent positive reinforcement builds momentum. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, progress, and setting clear expectations. Regular updates help parents stay informed and reinforce learning at home. I tutor students in elementary and middle school. I can help with English, test preparation, foreign language, art, sports & fitness, special education, and study skills. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.
