About Veronica

I'd describe my personality as motivated, patient, and compassionate towards others. I like working with kids because they see the world differently! I'm looking for a job that provides full time, long term employment. I currently work as preschool teacher and am looking to transition into at-home care. I started working with kids when I was 14 and began babysitting. Following my graduation from college, I began my journey as an educator and I currently work for a daycare in the KC area. I believe children learn best through memorable, play-based experiences! In my spare time, I like to explore new places around KC. I hike, do yoga, spectate various sporting events and I'm also an avid reader. One thing you should know about me is that I'm very dedicated to my work. I believe in giving my all! My skills include encouraging learning through play, keeping to a schedule that provides for the multifaceted needs of children, and planning activities that are engaging and fun.
