Hi, I'm Lauren! Looking for a daytime childcare position, 25-30 hour weeks are ideal. I can help with Light Housekeeping, meal prep, errands. Experience mostly with ages 1-4. Nannied 2 children (4 & 9) with special needs & worked in a commercial & a home daycare. I was a CNA, then moved to KC for nursing school. A few semesters in, I began pursuing a music career full time. (my shows are in the evenings, primarily weekends. I do light travel, but always know 2 months in advance.) I find all children inherently precious & easy to love! My childhood was hard, and I was greatly uplifted by adults who believed in me. I encourage hydration, emotional & nervous system regulation, incorporating plenty of movement & mental stimulation daily! I'm more anxious than laidback, but I hone it in, & use vigilance as a skill - children will always receive my thorough and careful attention. Every child deserves physical & emotional safety to thrive as the most authentic version of themselves!
