Chayce ( Vernon) worked and lived with us for almost 2 1/2 years, providing support and companionship to my husband who has Parkinson’s Disease and dementia. Chayce comes with unique qualifications having past experience as a fire fighter and paramedic. I initially brought on a caregiver for my husband because he was experiencing frequent falls due to his Parkinson’s. During Chayce’s time working with my husband he never had another fall that required medical attention. In fact, Chayce coordinated and assisted my husband with his weekly Pilates classes helping with maintaining his strength, agility and balance. Chayce was consistently flexible with his time giving me opportunities for respite care, and additional support when I had medical issues of my own. Chayce would definitely be eligible for rehire. In fact some of our kids and grandkids formed lasting friendships with Chayce. For us we recognize Chayce as ethical, compassionate, always professional, and a friend. Polly
