I met Verity "V" for an in-person interview, which I thought went great. We were then going to follow up and when I did, we had a great conversation and she was supposed to get back to me about helping me out later that same day. I never heard from her. I followed up to make sure she was ok and still never heard a thing. It is totally ok to change your mind about wanting to work with someone. It is NOT ok and very unprofessional to not respond to at least acknowledge what had been previously discussed. I found this very rude and disappointing. I did not get to work with her but it's probably for the best and no, I wouldn't hire her now.
