About Alberto

I'd describe myself as kind, fun, and patient. I love working with kids because they have so much potential and personality. I started working with children at 18 through my church's youth group, helping with ages 4 through high school, and later became the youngest youth group leader in the church's history. I grew up in a Spanish-speaking household, so while I'm not a fully confident speaker, I understand the language well and appreciate the culture and family values it instilled in me. I've also taken multiple ASL classes to strengthen my communication skills. While I'm goofy, fun-loving, and cheerful, I'm also reliable, loyal, and dedicated to the families I work with. My skills include teaching, cooking and child CPR & safety training, which I completed as part of my AA in Childhood Development. I'm looking for a flexible role that allows me to continue working on my degree while making a positive difference in both children's and parents' lives.
