About Vera

Hello! My name is Vera and I'm originally from Pennsylvania! I graduated in spring 2023 with my Bachelor's in Education Studies and Sociology from CUA in Washington, D. C. Right after graduating, I moved to Athens, Greece, for a teaching fellowship at a bilingual school. I started with my students (and coteachers!) in Pre-K and loved it so much that I stayed an extra year, moving up to kindergarten with them. Since this past August, I've been working at a preschool in Belmont, MA, where I began as an assistant in an older 3's classroom and later stepped in as lead teacher for the young 4's. Education has always been something I'm passionate about. I have experience nannying and babysitting for newborns, toddlers, and older children, though I have the most experience with little ones. I am CPR & First Aid Certified :) When it comes to pet sitting, I've spent months at a time caring for owners' pets while they're away on holiday!
